2. Campaign Contribution & Financial Compliance
All donations are governed by the Municipal Elections Act, 1996. By contributing, you certify the following:
- Individual Status: You are an individual normally resident in Ontario. Corporations and trade unions are prohibited from contributing.
- Contribution Limits: You have not exceeded the $1,200 limit for this campaign or the $5,000 total limit for the 2026 London, Ontario Municipal Election.
- Refund Policy: Contributions that are found to be ineligible (e.g., from a corporation or exceeding limits) will be returned to the contributor or paid to the Clerk of the City of London as required by law.
- Public Disclosure: Contributions over $100 will result in your name and address being part of the public record.
3. Communications & Consent
By providing your email address or phone number (e.g., via the volunteer list or donation form), you consent to receive communications from the
Kirsten Krose 2026 Campaign:
- Emails: You may receive campaign updates, "Thank You" notes, and volunteer opportunities.
- Opt-Out: You may unsubscribe from electronic communications at any time using the "Unsubscribe" link provided in our emails.
- Data Usage: Your information will be stored in our CRM for the sole purpose of campaign management and financial reporting. We do not sell or trade your personal data.
4. Intellectual Property & Brand
- Ownership: The logo, the slogan "A City That Works," and all content related to the four vision pillars—Traffic, Safety, Efficiency, and Taxpayer Respect—are the property of the Kirsten Krose Campaign.
- Usage: You may share Site content for personal, non-commercial purposes to support the campaign, provided the content is not altered.
5. User-Generated Content
If you post comments on our blog or submit testimonials:
- You grant the campaign a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use that content for promotional purposes.
- We reserve the right to remove any content that is defamatory, illegal, or inconsistent with our community standards of safety and respect.
